Materials for study and practice

The exercise workbook

Please note: the course lessons are currently available in Italian only.

Guided exercises in the web app

The workshop includes six cases on relationships, interviews, agreements, moves, confidences and proposals of value. For each one:

  1. Read the question and observe the sequence.
  2. Write your own interpretation before opening the comparison.
  3. Compare the card-by-card reasoning and consider an alternative reading.
  4. Use the self-assessment grid and keep the exercise in the journal.

Your draft is saved as you write. The comparison comments on the case without automatically marking free text. In the journal you can add later observations and export your readings as JSON. The Free spread mode keeps the draws of three to five cards and the complete combinations.

In-depth exercises from the book

The handout Insights from the book: images and spreads adds exercises in observation, comparing cards and reading with the tower, two significators, six time rows and the wheel of the year. Start by observing Viaggio and Fedeltà, then compare Fortuna, Consolante Sorpresa and Gran Consolazione on the same question. The instructions and the references to the PDF pages are in the handout. The meaning of Superbia is excluded from these in-depth units.

Weekly routine

Weeks 1-2: familiarity

Every day draw one card and note down:

Example: Conversazione = words, exchange, group. Sentence: "Today a clarification arrives through a conversation".

Weeks 3-4: three-card combinations

Use the structure:

  1. area of life;
  2. event;
  3. outcome.

Exercises:

For each triplet write two readings: a favourable one and a problematic one, changing the context.

Weeks 5-6: thematic questions

Formulate precise questions:

Avoid absolute questions such as "Will I be happy?" or "Does he or she really love me forever?".

Weeks 7-8: complete readings

Do a five-card spread and fill in this sheet:

Exercises on the crown cards

Place a neutral card in the centre and change the side cards.

Prigione at the centre

Exercises on the court figures

Choose a figure and ask yourself:

Then formulate a sentence.

Example: Amatrice + Militare + Amante. If the two figures look at each other and the Militare is in between, there may be a shared secret. If they do not look at each other, the secret creates distance.

Journal of personal combinations

When a combination comes true in real life, record it like this:

Correction of the meaning:

This journal is the most important part of the course. The transcripts insist on one point: books and lessons give a foundation, but the reader grows when recognising combinations over time.
